The Truth About Growth No One Wants to Hear
Every bit of growth, whether in the gym or your practice, happens in the hard reps. The ones that hurt. The ones you do not want to do.
I used to think I just needed to work harder to grow, but what I learned from my trainer changed everything. All the early reps just tire the muscle out. The growth comes from the last two reps, the ones you have to push through when you are uncomfortable.
Practice ownership works the same way.
We avoid the hard conversations, the tough calls, the uncomfortable decisions. But those are the exact moments that move us forward.
So here is the challenge.
What are your “last two reps” right now?
The thing you have been avoiding because it is uncomfortable? Confront it. Do it first. Eat the frog early in the day.
That is how growth happens. Not through comfort, but through the right kind of discomfort.
In this week’s episode, I share how to push through those moments and become the kind of owner who keeps leveling up instead of plateauing.
